For years people will be displaying photos of their wedding, since it is that kind of occasion. Every bride and groom wants someone who is well trained and who will guarantee quality. You can make a lot of money if you decide to be a wedding photographer. As well as the money though there is the risk that you must manage well.
A disclaimer should be included in a well written up first time contract. If you don\’t have a disclaimer you could be sued afterwards. For example, you should include that you are not responsible for pictures that might get lost after you send the film away to get developed, or pictures that do not come out clear due to equipment failure. Otherwise you could get sued for breach of contract.
The hourly rate and how many pictures are to be taken should also be included in the contract. Something else you should include would be the fees for developing and the fee of the album. Make sure you discuss with your clients what their requirements are. They might want a certain person or family they would like pictures of since they don\’t get to see them often, so that should be discussed as well if it is an issue.
Your clients will probably request certain photographs so make sure you make a list. Generally your clients will want pictures of the pre-ceremony, wedding ceremony, post-ceremony and of course the reception. Who will be in certain photographs should be discussed with the client as well. Not every client will be the same so pay attention to what they are saying.
When you schedule your clients in make sure they pay you a deposit. At least 50% deposit should be paid prior to the wedding. You should set a date when the remaining amount will be paid because you do not want to be bothering the bride and groom during the reception for payment! They would think you were unprofessional and wish they had hired someone else.
If you are developing your client\’s pictures yourself, Photoshop is an excellent photo editing program. You can enhance the photos with all sorts of techniques such as flaw removal, montage, changing the color to black and which or sepia, as well as other unique features.
Look for ways to add extra value that you have not told them about. This will always generate good feelings. A special surprise will keep everyone talking and generating more business for you in the future. Think different. Imagine for example if you uploaded all their pictures onto a password protected part of your website so that they and their friends can login and view.
In the end doing wedding photography can be lucrative and fun as long as you build on your people skills.

Companies of all scales and budgets use brochures as an essential tool of advertising. They integrate important information about a company like its products and their superiority over the competitor, its key features, its contact info, and so on, therefore imparting dependability to it in the marketplace. Bad work on a brochure can cause a lot of harm to the reputation of the company & thus it is very crucial to exercise care while developing it. This article will give you some key hints on brochure printing and design.
The development process of a brochure must make sure that the end result looks professional, provides information in a clear and concise fashion, and is attractive to the target audience. There should be a perfect blend of text and images, and the colours should be used harmoniously. Text, borders, and graphics are vital components of brochure design and they should complement each other well. In addition to being coherent and easy to follow, the brochure must also be a visual delight and not jumbled and messy.
The brochure printing related issues should also be taken care of at the time of designing. It is usually a wise decision to take a test print out to see how the final brochure is going to look before you send it for bulk printing.
The design should be developed keeping in mind the brochure printing fund allocation. Black and white printing costs lesser than color, therefore if you are on a shoe-string budget you may want to go for the former. If you are not pulled back by budget and are planning for colorful brochures, then thicker and glossier papers should be used, as they enhance the beauty of colour prints. If the brochure is to be printed on both sides of the paper, then the material chosen for such a product must be strong enough for good quality printing.
Asking for discounts from the printing company is always a good tactic if large printing orders are placed. Quality, however, must always come first because a compromise on that front might be disastrous for the company\’s image.

Most of the small organizations run on highly constrained budgets, and the situation has become worse due to the current economic slump. With difficult availability of funds and resources, the small organizations should invest carefully so that maximum output is reaped from their initiatives. One of the ways of doing this, without ignoring competitiveness, is by using cost-effective promotional strategies, which is where flyer printing can play a very important role.
It would surely be giving you sleepless nights if you have to pump in your hard-earned earnings on costly promotional plans, when all you want to advertise is a small organization like a restaurant or a garment store. Moreover, such methods are often not even suitable for a local organization.
Flyer printing costs less than other advertising methods, and if done correctly, it can significantly enhance the popularity and visibility of your organization. It is one of the best ways of promoting your products or services, and of creating a recall in the mind of the customers.
Some essential elements of flyer printing must be kept in mind before you launch this campaign. The paper chosen should be neither too thin nor too thick. The final design version of the flyer should be examined meticulously so that errors do not creep in. Your company loses impression of reliability if your flyer displays visible mistakes in spellings, grammar or the message. Use of dull colours in a flyer is as unpleasant to the human eye as is the overuse of colours that are too bright; hence you should go for a balanced approach. The graphics printed on the flyer should be selected with care and should have enough resolution to come out nicely in the print.
It is important for local businesses to try out flyer printing and see the results speak for themselves. It is a good marketing strategy. It will save you money and effort, which you can utilize in running your business more effectively.

Frequently, people worry that their household items and personal belongings may be subject to theft in a self storage facility. But you don\’t have to worry about this due to the level of security provided by self storage companies!
Prior to selecting a self-storage company, you should check out the following regarding security:
Alarms – they should have an alarm as well as security guards and the neighborhood police should be watching. There should be alarms on your unit and the whole area also. With this system installed, any nuisance inside the storage premises is easily noticeable.
Smoke alarms – this is necessary for self storage units since surprise accidents can be avoided. Almost every self storage place does not allow smoking because of the fire risk.
Limited access that functions by demanding all visitors sign their name when they come and go before they can enter the storage facility or actually use a key.
CCTV surveillance cameras that normally are monitored round the clock. Continuous surveillance of the interiors of a warehouse is possible through this system, which can effectively avoid any act of theft or burglary inside the warehouse.
You should be the only individual who is given a key-code or swipe card to gain entrance to your unit. No one should be allowed in without prior permission from you first. Such facilities are ideal for those who desire to store high worth or secret items.
Are the units guarded by an actual person round the clock?
Reinforced units that provide extra security against theft.
Besides these, there are a number of other technologies with attractive aspects that are more and more being used by storage firms. This has guaranteed a highly safe preservation of your goods at costs that perfectly fit your budget.

It may be a bit of a stretch to call Satoshi Ishii the Michael Phelps of Japan, but not by much. His victory in the heavyweight judo competition at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing was easily the defining moment of the games for his countrymen and was considered by most media outlets the #1 highlight of the year in all of sports. Though Japan does well at the Olympics for a country of its size and has won gold medals in a number of sports, its important to keep in mind that until the late\’70s judo was the countrys most popular sport. While its popularity in the intervening decades has been supplanted by imported team sports like soccer and baseball, judo still holds especially high prestige among the Japanese sports fans and general public.
Ishii himself is also a marketing dream. Hes especially big by Japanese standards with 240 pounds packed on his bulky 511 frame. Not surprisingly, hes tough as nails and a terror on the mat but away from the gym he comes off like an awkwardly cheerful overgrown boy. He definitely seems younger than his 22 years, but gives off the vibe of a nice neighbor boy who youd gladly pay to mow your lawn. Unlike his telegenic American gold medalist counterpart Phelps, who acts as if he spent as much time working on media relations as his backstroke heading up to the Olympic games, Ishiis demeanor is of an athlete who literally spent the bulk of his life in a gym only to emerge and find himself a national hero.
With the ability to offer him the most money and exposure, it seemed almost a fait accompli that Ishii would sign with DREAM and K-1 parent group FEG. Obviously its a good idea to keep your options open in negotiations, so he also reportedly talked to Sengoku parent World Victory Road and Antonio Inokis Inoki Genome Federation pro wrestling group.
Ishii then shocked the Japanese fight sport world by categorically rejecting FEGs offer, saying that it was his lifelong dream to fight in the UFC. While this rationale might sound plausible to a US based fan, its akin to a top college baseball player from a SEC school turning down a big offer from the Atlanta Braves saying that its his lifelong dream to play for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan Central League. It frequently comes a shock to US MMA fans just how low the UFC ranks in the Japan\’s fight sport pantheon. In MMA, their profile is lower than DREAM and Sengoku, but even smaller groups like Shooto and DEEP.
Ishii then travelled to Las Vegas for UFC 92, with the Japanese media in tow covering his every move. There were countless photo opportunities with Dana White, who spoke of Ishii in glowing terms, along with top UFC stars. Upon his return to Japan, he was repeatedly photographed wearing UFC t-shirts while speaking enthusiastically about Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and everyone else involved with the promotion. He appeared at the Sengoku card in January addressing the audience from the ring and wearing his ubiquitous UFC shirt; his message was that he was going to fight in America for awhile but would eventually return to Japan.
At age 22, Ishiis got plenty of time to develop as a fighter. His biggest downside risk from signing with Zuffa is financial since hed be lucky to get a fraction of what FEG is willing to pay him. The competitive logic of learning his craft slowly notwithstanding, theres a huge risk in automatically assuming that he can fight for the UFC for a few years and then cash a big check when he returns to Japan as the potential of injury and changing market conditions could seriously impact his market value.
Theres another very realistic scenario that it was all a negotiating ploy by Ishii. The UFC was likely willing to play along, figuring that their investment of a few plane tickets and hotel suites would be worth the resulting PR surge in Japan.
With the recent revelation that Ishii has broken off UFC negotiations to entertain offers from other parties thats starting to look like the plausible explanation for the once hot and heavy courtship between Ishii and Zuffa. Ishii and the UFC both realized all along that his MMA future was in Japan, but there was no harm in exploring the relationship.
As a postscript to the Ishiis relationship with the UFC, it apparently opened the doors for his move to the US for training. That alone is a positive for his future development as a fighter, as hell be training with a whos who of professional fighting. That alone is a career move thats difficult to second guess.

A day after failing to make weight for his fight against Matt Hughes, Thiago Alves dominated the former UFC welterweight champion en route to a 2nd round TKO victory. The main event at UFC 85 in London was somewhat anticlimactic to the fans at the O2 Arena who considered the semifinal matchup between Manchester’s Michael Bisping and Jason Day the biggest fight on the card.
Hughes didn’t make any excuses following his one sided loss, saying simply that hes a good fighter and he got me. The longtime king of the UFCs welterweight division also gave notice that his career as an active fighter was drawing to a close, suggesting that he had one fight left and challenging Matt Serra in what presumably would be his retirement match. Hughes had no answer for Alves from the opening horn, as he was stuffed on several takedown attempts early on. When he did finally get his opponent to the ground he was unable to do much damage. Alves, conversely, scored effectively with his striking including several damaging knee strikes. He also did considerable work on the ground, with an elbow strike opening up a large cut on Hughes forehead. Though he didnt get to his knees a la Georges St. Pierre, Alves did make a plea to Dana White for a title shot. His failure to make weight wont help his cause, however, and judging from the UFC Presidents incredulous smirk in response that opportunity wont be immediately forthcoming.
The end came early in the 2nd round as Hughes was caught coming in by a devastating knee strike. He fell to the canvas in a heap and referee Herb Dean was jumping in to stop the contest before Alves could follow up with any punches. As the ringside physician entered the ring to check on the fallen fighter, Hughes gave an indication that his knee was injured.
Michael Bisping simply overwhelmed Jason Day en route to a lopsided TKO victory. Bisping built upon the improved boxing skills he demonstrated at UFC 83 by unveiling an impressive ground and pound attack. Day never really got anything going and by the last minute of the fight was simply trying to cover up to prevent damage from Bispings elbows and hammer fists.
In other action, Mike Swick used an array of high kicks and a 7 reach advantage to coast to a unanimous decision over Marcus Davis. Davis, a former professional boxer, was unable to get inside against his lanky opponent and was never really in the fight. Like Bisping, Swick may have made an excellent career choice by moving down in weight.
A controversial point deduction for a strike to the back of the head cost Nate Marquardt his match against Thales Leites. Marquardt was solidly in charge for the entire fight, but suffered a point deduction for an illegal knee strike in round one. While that infraction was valid, replays of the 2nd round deduction for the strike to the back of the head gave the impression that he was penalized for a legal strike to the side of the head.
In the opening PPV match, another controversial ending saw Fabrico Werdum defeat Brandon Vera by 1st round KO. The fight had been evenly contested up until the stoppage, with Werdum scoring a couple of takedown and Vera countering with some effective punching. Late in the first round, Werdum got a full mount and began to fire a series of punches. Vera was clearly defending himself and didnt appear to be hurt at all when the referee jumped in to stop the fight.

Betting on sports ‘futures’ is an enjoyable and potentially profitable way to wager, but there are several potential risks that can lead to losses. Here’s a rundown of things to avoid:
You gotta shop around: More specifically, you have to ’shop points’ just as you would with a straight bet. This is crucial in all forms of sports betting but particularly key with futures wagers. There are often greater variances in the prices from book to book on future plays than any other type of wagering proposition. The reason for this is simple–most books are less concern with what the ‘other guys’ are doing as they are with keeping their own position ‘in balance’. All in all, the sports betting marketplace just doesn’t react as quickly to changing futures prices as it does to individual game lines.
Don’t try to pick the winner in a competitive marketplace: This may sound sort of counter intuitive since the general idea of betting on futures is to determine the actual winner but it’s really not. Like everything else, its essential to always be mindful of the value you’re getting. In a futures market with several legitimate contenders at the top the price offered is seldom high enough to properly compensate for the risk you’re assuming. Here’s an example: in a hypothetical NCAA hoops tournament Duke is +200 to win the national championship. They’ve certainly got a shot, but at a payback of only 2/1 its hard to justify a wager at this point with the potential for so many interceding events that can make a championship more problematic. Such events as injuries, a tough tournament draw or even just going into a slump at the wrong time can happen to any team but when you bet a higher priced team–a ‘dark horse mid major at 15/1 for example–you’re getting “compensation” for assuming the “risks” of betting on a proposition with so many unknown variables.
In mathematical terms, we’re simply not being offered odds on a favorite that offer a good value in comparison with the ‘true odds’ of the event occurring. Let’s say we bet Duke at +200 to win the NCAA tournament. If we could magically play the NCAA tournament over 100 times, would Duke come out on top more than 33 times? If not, they’re a poor value at the price. At a higher price, I might be interested but at +200 the value is simply not there.
Note that the more competitive the market, the more difficult it is to find good value on a favorite. In a smaller field, or in a field with one dominant competitor it can be easier. For example, say the UFC were to have a tournament involving heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and three male figure skaters. Even if Lesnar was slightly injured, or not at the top of his game he’d essentially have a 100% chance of beating the smaller, effeminate men who are untrained to fight. If a book installed Lesnar as a -1000 favorite in this spot, it could still be considered a good value. It’s never easy to risk a lot to win a little, but from strictly a mathematical standpoint it makes sense.
Don’t try to make a huge profit with little risk: Sports betting provides few opportunities to make a ‘big killing’. It may happen occasionally, but even the big payouts when it occurs doesn’t make chasing big longshots a good value. If you’re serious about sports betting it is crucial to maintain your focus on the underlying numbers and look for value at all times. If you want to take a longshot at a huge jackpot, play the lottery but don’t try to do it at a sportsbook.
On a more theoretical level, a big price alone is no way to justify a wager. The concept of value works the same at the bottom of the barrel as it does at the top: make sure the price you’re getting on an underdog accurately reflects their “true odds” of winning.
Don’t waste your money on ridiculous prop bets: Occasionally sports books offer ridiculous bets to get press or to be funny. For example, a book once offered odds on Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Bruce Willis all hopping into bed together and releasing a video tape of the proceedings. You’d no doubt get a huge payback were this to happen, but the ‘true odds’ of such an event transpiring far exceeded even a big potential payback.

The Florida Gators rampage through the SEC reached its culmination with a 31-20 victory over #1 ranked Alabama in the conference championship game. This victory set the stage for the Gators\’ appearance in the National Championship Game.
The Gators struck first, taking a 7-0 lead on a three yard Tim Tebow TD pass to Carl Moore. The Crimson Tide quickly answered, tying the score on an eighteen yard run by Glen Coffee and taking their first lead of the game at 10-7 several minutes later on a 30 yard FG by Leigh Tiffin. Florida came right back in the second quarter, tying the game on a Jonathan Phillips\’ yard FG and taking a 17-10 lead into the halftime break on another Tebow TD pass, this one to David Nelson from five yards out. Alabama regained control in the third quarter, tying the score on a 2 yard Mark Ingram touchdown run and then regaining the lead at 20-17 in the final seconds of the period on another Tiffin field goal. Florida put them away for good in the fourth, however, on a 1 yard Jeffrey Demps TD run followed by Tebows third touchdown strike of the day.
As was the case so often during 2008, Tim Tebow was the big star for the Gators. The junior QB had 216 yards passing with 3 TDs and no interceptions plus fifty seven yards on the ground. Florida head coach Urban Meyer praised Tebow effusively in his post game comments:
\”I\’ve had some great players, and I\’ve got some great players on this team. But I\’ve never had one like this. Tim\’s got something special inside him. I\’m not talking about throwing. I\’m not talking about running. I\’m talking about making everyone around him better. That fourth quarter was vintage Tim Tebow.
Alabama coach Nick Saban concurred:
\”He\’s a great competitor. He takes his teammates on his shoulders a lot. They have a lot of confidence he\’s going to make plays, and they play that way. They scored two touchdowns where we had them covered about as well as we could cover them.\”
The conventional wisdom is that the Gators are a speed and finesse team, but according to cornerback Joe Haden the world has underestimated their toughness:
\”Our team is a tough team. The only reason they look past our toughness is our speed. They said we were a speed team and they were a tough team. We\’re just as tough. We can still be pretty and fast and tough at the same time.\”
Even in defeat, it was impossible to overlook the remarkable resurgance of Alabama football. In only two years at the helm, Nick Saban has amassed a\’-7 record at Alabama with no signs of slowing down.
