Although sweating is a natural process that helps regulate our body temperature, for some individuals it can cause quite a problem. Over the counter remedies may work in some cases, but there are millions of people that may need a more powerful solution. Because everyone is different, it is suggested that researching the various ways to reduce underarm sweating, may be the best way to find a possible solution. I will also be talking about a natural sweating cure guide that I have used to get rid of my excessive sweating problem.

When someone seems to have an excessive amount of underarm sweat, they may be suffering from a condition called Axillary Hyperhidrosis. There are two different types of Hyperhidrosis. Secondary, or Generalized Hyperhidrosis, is typically considered to be a side effect of a medication, or a symptom of some other medical condition. Primary, or Focal Hyperhidrosis, is not considered to be associated with either, and may be hereditary.

In many cases, people find the protection they need from antiperspirants and deodorants, which can also be found in clinical strength. Unfortunately, millions of individuals throughout the world still need a better solution.

Some people that have suffered from an excessive amount of sweating, or even Hyperhidrosis, have found prescription medications to be helpful. Anticholinergics and Beta Blockers are believed to be the most widely used oral medications. Some Anti-Anxiety medications have also been prescribed. However, these treatments do not always work, and are often associated with a varying degree of side effects.

Some people have found Iontophoresis to be a solution as well. This is when a very mild electrical shock that is sent through a water current is applied to the area of concern. It is thought that this procedure allows the skin to thicken and block the sweat from seeping through. Botox injection; however, attack the problem from a different angle. When injected it helps block the signal that is sent to the verve endings associated with the sweat glands. This results in less perspiration being produced. If no other option seems to work, some doctors have also performed surgery to attempt to correct the problem.

It seems that there are always some type of home remedies for any condition, and underarm sweating is no exception. Many people have found simply wearing cotton clothes with extra pads for protection to be helpful; whereas, some have found certain common foods to help. Sliced potatoes, rosemary and turnip juice are just a few home remedies that have worked for some individuals. A mixture of baking soda and lemon juice has also been suggested as another alternative.

Whether you are more interested in medical treatments or home remedies, there is always a risk of side effects. Therefore, it is recommended that you speak with your doctor before beginning any treatment procedure. Looking into the various ways to reduce underarm sweating, can help you find a solution that may be appropriate for your individual needs. I personally managed to get rid of all my sweat problems with a step by step sweat removal guide and highly recommend it.
